Sense and Sensibility

I’m re-readingĀ Sense and Sensibility (well listening to it – this version) and I had forgotten how much I enjoy it.

Here’s a quote …

‘A women of seven and twenty,’ said Marianne, after pausing a moment,’can never hope to feel or inspire affection again …’

I wonder how Anne Elliot feels about that?
